FRANK is a modern pop artist and songwriter from Indianapolis, USA. The moniker of 26-year-old Sydney Elliott, FRANK's work has been shaped by a deep well of pristine soul and rock artists, as she cites Billie Holiday, The Eurythmics, Blondie, and Mazzy Star as guiding influences in her work. Her music and lyrics — as direct reflections of her personality — are raw, powerful, fearless, and rooted in her deepest convictions to be truthful with her audience.

Aesthetically, FRANK arrives at the exhilarating intersection of sneering punk and shimmering retro glamour; her myriad of tattoos chronicle her life’s most defining moments thusfar, and are offset by a penchant for the vintage stylings of icons like Edie Sedgwick and Annie Lennox.

Known for her powerful, evocative voice and striking live presence, Sydney spent three years fronting and touring with acclaimed 5-piece band Forstory. Sydney conceived FRANK in 2022 from a desire to create music of her own design, that represents her connective instincts and truest musical tastes. FRANK embodies sonic modernity and futurism, as well maintaining a reverence for the cinematic beauty and excellence of the great soul singers of the golden age of music.

In 2020, FRANK was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and is committed to being a staunch advocate for awareness, education and research of the disease.
