JOSHUA+ — "MAYDAY" SINGLE
In early 2021, the Absorb. label was thrilled to release the aggressive, punk-inspired single "MAYDAY" by experimental hip hop artist JOSHUA+.

Because of the song's lyrical theme of destruction in a relationship buoyed by bombastic sonics, we designed "covertly dangerous" cover art inspired by sourced images of Ted Kaczynski's package bombs that caused international strife in the 1990's. All design components were made by hand in our studio using simple packaging materials, and then photographed. A simple, monochrome performance visual was made to accompany the visuals and give listeners a first look at the artist.

"MAYDAY" is available on all platforms now.
