THE ELMS — THE COMPLETE STUDIO ALBUMS
In 2020, to commemmorate the 20th anniversary of their formation, American rock band THE ELMS released THE COMPLETE STUDIO ALBUMS, a limited edition 4-LP box set which featured their complete catalog of four acclaimed studio albums on vinyl for the first time ever. Absorb. was excited to conceptualize, design, and release the collection.
For THE COMPLETE STUDIO ALBUMS packaging design, each album was visually embodied in a specifically colorized ring. All rings then interlock on the front cover to create a striking, minimalist symbol representing the band's entire connected body of work during their existence from 2000-2010. The accompanying 16-page booklet and vinyl labels were all coordinated to match each album's respectively colored ring, resulting in a clean, vibrant artistic and informational design.
